Junior Production Intern

 

Derivative, the Toronto based maker of TouchDesigner, is looking for an in-house junior production intern. This is a great chance to work directly with the developers and up your TouchDesigner skills. As a part of the Derivative team you'll be creating tools and examples that help new users learn TouchDesigner and assist the workflows of TouchDesigner professionals. The tasks will range from time spent in TouchDesigner, to content creation with other tools as well as documentation.
Apart from that we like to encourage the development of a personal project with 1/5 of your time dedicated to bringing it to fruition.

 

Duration: 4 month starting as soon as January 2019
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada
Time: 40hrs / week, flexible hours

 

Required Experience
  • prior experience in TouchDesigner and an eagerness to master the software
  • some familiarity with scripting languages (focus on python)
  • previous experience in the interactive or real-time field

 

Beneficial but not required
  • Photoshop, Illustrator
  • 3D animation or modeling
  • GLSL, C++, openFrameworks
  • Git

FAQ

Q: How do I get a work permit?
A: Interns who require a work permit must arrange it completely on their own. Derivative is unable to 'sponsor' anyone for an internship.
