Hellooo!
background:
Currently working with a theater company that needs to be recording all rehearsals all the time and their current method is driving me insane. Would like to build a special system for them that records direct to disk and outputs h.265 files to their server.
(h.265 test so far have been awesome in reducing file sizes… their original set up of camcorder, memory cards and ffmpeg scripts would render out crappy looking mp4 files that would be about 9 gigs/day of rehearsal. Can get a much nicer h.265 @ 2.5 gigs per day or less in touch and much faster turn around times)
My question is:
We have access to a couple of Commerical license keys, but I would like to not use them in this set up since it would be running while I am working on other stuff for the shows.
Will touchplayer commercial let me record to disk from “video device in” to “movie file out” with that wonderful h.265 codec? I can’t justify another license for this project, but maybe a touchplayer license is possible.
Thank you,
Wlad
