what is Changing Graphics Context?

Postby phanhuyen345 » Fri May 18, 2018 3:59 am

Can anyone help me with this issue?

I seem to have large rendering times (80ms)

It seems to mostly derive from (per performance monitor) Changing Graphics Context.

This program basically will eventually take artnet in, and use the data to create colored rectangles.

This should be easy... but it seems to be taxing the program

I also cannot figure out a way to create the rectangles of a specific size (in this case I would really like them to be 1x36 pixels) and then place them in specific spots on a larger 1024x768 rectangle, being able to do this would mean I don't have to render a ton of large frames, just one large frame with a bunch of smaller rectangles placed in it...
Any help would be much appreciated

This generally means the GPU or possible just the graphics driver, is overworked. What kind of system are you running on?
