Is anyone using Raspberry Pis in their Touchdesigner work, eg. as input device ?
I’m asking because we’re looking for fun and interesting ways to apply the Raspberry Pi equipped with our PiShield, a sensor interface for the RPi, and for which we are currently doing a kickstarter, see kickstarter.com/projects/in … spberry-pi
So, what’s the advantage of using the pishield as opposed to buying the various sensors designed for the pi?
I understand they’re analog, and not digital, but what’s to be gained from that? Are analog sensors cheaper, or more accurate? I’m just trying to understand the value.
I just emailed them on some advice on the best method to connect to Windows 10 machine running Touch Designer. They have a Digitizer Input Device that converts signals to MIDI, and also a USB Input Device that uses OSC I think.
