Similar sensor to leap motion but for the wall

I am looking for a sensor that detects touch zone on a wall. I know there is something similar to a leap motion but for bigger zone and it is not a kinect.

do you have any idea.

We’ve used laser scanners before for this kind of need:

They’re pricey, but provide accurate measurements and can be used for this kind of problem.

Laser scanners just give you two coordinates where the beam is interrupted. They can be finicky, to set up but are very accurate and come in models with high refresh rates.

Radar Touch is another one people use a lot, comes built in with TUIO so pretty easy to get it connected and talking, and has quite a nice range.

Any idea of the cost of radar touch?

I haven’t personally bought one, but I hear 12-15k range.
