Laptop recommendations TD

HI everyone!

After some time I am updating my laptop, and I am doing some research for the best option. I use my laptop mainly to perform some live shows with Touchdesigner, for some 3D (mainly modeling and some rendering), Motion graphics, video editing and also for some Machine Learning experiments. I am looking for a laptop with a good graphics card and CPU. I travel constantly with it, but I am not really concerned about weight (actually my laptop is a 15 inch, and move it daily). I am thinking to spend between $2,000 and $3,000 USD.

I selected the following laptops and I would like to know if you could give me some recommendations of the performance of these with Touchdesigner. Or others you think are the best option:

Hope you could help me.

Any news with your laptop update? I am too considering getting a new laptop to handle touchdesigner and new to touchdesigner. I have been mac on everything for the longest and hear that PC gaming laptops are the way to go for this application. I’m curious if there’s a current best brand PC gaming laptop that’s a sure fire winner(less problematic) for pushing live A/V shows with touchdesigner. And if going away from mac is a good idea for me? My machine at home is a mac running C4D, ableton live, adobe creative suites. Thanks in advance.

Not yet, I am still deciding. I also have been a Mac user, but I am looking for a best performance. I think I will select the Acer Predator 17x I think is the most affordable one for what it includes, as is the Nvidia 1080. Also is included in the Zephyrus but I am afraid the Zephyrus will not be upgradable because of it size, definitely an advantage compared to the 4.5 kilos of the Predator. But I am hearing opinions before buying. What have you seen?
