Floating coordinate frame in SOP View

Hi,

I am new to touch designer, and am following tutorial. If this is not the right place to post questions here, please let me know of more proper place. Thx!

I am studying SOP. When I apply a noise, the coodinate frame automatically floats and shakes to fit the displayed image. Could some one please show me how to turn it off and change back to fixed view point. Thx!

Hi Yong,

welcome to the forum!

there are two possible solutions, depending on what you need.
They both start with clicking the + sign in bottom right of the SOP to activate it’s panel.

option 1)
right click in the SOP’s panel to select “Display options” (or use shortcut p)
There you can disable the "origin’ and ‘floating origin’ (icons bottom left)

option2)
right click in the SOP’s panel and disable ‘Adaptive Homing’ ( or use shortcut q)
this way you can keep the origin visible but the shaking stops

Thanks, Idzard! That works!
