I want to render out a movie of a live demonstration of my work so far. with me changing buttons and options,
just so I can have a video with sound
basically like a tutorial of me demonstrating my project in effect…
whats the best and easiest way to go about this?

Do you just want to capture what is on your screen with mouse moves included? Because fraps or camtasia studio do that nicely.
For open source, i’ve heard this does an ok job but haven’t tried it personally. camstudio.org/

Yep fraps does audio too. And can capture up to 2k res i think…
