Connecting touch designer to arduino

I am trying to use touch designer to control an Arduino. I have read everything on the derivative wiki page on Arduino, but I don’t think I understand it. I just want to be able to use inputs from Kinect in touch designer to control outputs on the Arduino (like servos and stuff). I could really use a good explanation on how to do this. Thanks!

How far have you gotten?
I’d start with just controlling servos on the arduino.
Then a simple interface to TouchDesigner, where you send the servo values directly, based on the TouchDesigner Arduino articles.
Then you can look at Kinect.
