ParticleSOP velocity. How to slow particles down? [SOLVED]

Hi,

How to make Particle SOP to emit particles with lower velocity? How to make them slower?

I’ve found that I can run source geometry via Point SOP where can I set the velocity for each spawning point.

yes, to be a bit more exact the length & direction of the normal vectors on the source geometry determine the emitspeed & emitdirection of the particles

I’ve thought that normals are normalised vectors, but that’s not true - they also have length. Thanks!
