Have been interested in using the kinect for ways to bring in real time data to drive systems. I am currently more interested in mapping out spacing thresholds and positing over mapping the human body directly, which the kinect seems to excel at in a controlled setting.
I am wondering if anyone has used the kinect to capture depth positions to set triggers?
To track an objects, human figures to follow an xy position of an object in physical space.
The kinect chop seems t work great for the human body but not just 3d space. The Top I’ve experimented with the depth filter and used a rear projected spandex designed to be touched. I am able to get a position of b vs white which could be used to drive instancing but kinda stuck. Wondering if anyone has had better luck with this process
