Collision and other Physics Techniques?

Can someone point me to (or tell me) some nice Physics techniques? Particularly for collision but just in general too.

The 2010 plastikman contest video made me really want to know what Jarret is doing in his .toe file: https://vimeo.com/9515855

I tried downloading the .toe file from here to see it for myself but I can’t seem to open it… : http://www.technoboard.at%2Flofiversion%2Findex.php%3Ft52944.html&h=fAQHz5pMk

Thanks!

Same here, where can we find this file? looks like good exampl!

ok its on derivative.ca/plastikman/ there is a link at 3/4 page

I actually just had a post about this not long ago. You will need to download the 077 version of TD to view the contest project file. The 088 builds will crash on load.

Miraculously the 077 Plastikman project opens in 099, and if you put /project1 in the path of /perform and switch /perform to be Python language, it will run in Perform Mode.

However, this was done in 2010 when Tscript was the language-at-large, before python was integrated into TouchDesigner, phasing out Tscript. So I’d use the .toe file to get a good idea of approaches taken by Jarrett Smith, which still applies, but not to learn a scripting language.
