set default palette directory in preferences.

Hi,
It would be really helpfull if there was an option in the preferences to manually set the “my components” directory of the palette. In this way it can be pointed to a dropbox to share components between studio/home situations or to remotely work together on a project.

cheers,
roy

+1 perhaps the ability to add multiple custom folders or even git repos would be pretty sick

+1 oh yes! Please start simple (so it can be added quickly) with just one custom directory folder in Palette.

Then we as users can take care of updating files in that folder with git/dropbox/whatever. This would already help so much in cooperating with team members.

then the next palette versions can be more advanced if needed…

There is a way to link the palette to a dropbox folder using ‘mklink’ in windows:
derivative.ca/Forum/viewtop … =20&t=9958

+1 for all of the above … symlinks are working for the moment but would love to be able to manage the Palette … it’s a part of my productivity workflow and more or less like my ‘bookmarks’ as it is but keeping systems in sync is not great ATM
