SUBMITTED: Speed CHOP: Diesel option for passive cooking?

I would much appreciate an option to cook ‘speed’ on a ‘on value change’ basis. In 017 this was apparently possible through the ‘Interval’ tab page, this is still echoing in the manual.

Meanwhile I’ll try figure out how to integrate using the ‘oc’ expression… I guess I could still interconnect 068 with 017 to take advantage of this feature if I can’t solve the ‘oc’ mystery.

Out of curiosity, is the ‘Time Slice’ flag on in your speed CHOP?

Hello Rob, I couldn’t make Speed CHOP to work coherently without time slice on, so I left it on on my test.

I’ve managed to build passive speed and slopes for making a relative slider out of an absolute v pos. It does some extra cooking and is weird, but worked so far.

I might re make it with local variables but might wait for 069 for a better handling of local variables, right?

For a rottary knob, relative control panel’s uv coords do not work properly yet, as mentioned by greg in his uig’s knob dial notes. I think I’ll have to live with my freaky solution for the moment.

thanks
