Hi,
you know how at the top of each pane you have the path where you are? I’d like to propose an addition that I think would be very useful.
right now, you have something like:
/PROJECTS/myProj/ACTOR/myactor >
that list is very useful for navigating, but it lacks information. ie. let’s say I had 4 container in myactor: LOGIC RENDER COMMON GEO
let’s say that RENDER was currently selected.
I’d like to see
/PROJECTS/myProj/ACTOR/myactor/[RENDER] >
where render is highlighted or something to show me it’s the selected operator. Clicking on RENDER would show me a pull down with LOGIC/RENDER/COMMON/GEO
just like clicking on myactor shows me all the other components under ACTOR.
that way I can select another component instead of RENDER just with that pull down, instead of navigating in the network view to find it or switching to a list view just to find it as well.
so to get inside another component I could click on render, select the new component, and press enter (which enters into the current selection).
