shaders open as glsl in external editors

It’s lovely that external editors launch DATs as python files - I love me some syntax highlighting.

It’d be even better if vertex, geometry, and pixel/fragment shaders launched with a different extension to make it a little easier to ensure that editors can use appropriate syntax highlighting. I know it’s a messy business (I’m not sure what the standard extensions are here, or if there are any), but it would save a few clicks.

Just a wish.

until that time, I created a workaround for all Sublime users

You’re a wonderful human being Idz!

Thank you.

I was just thinking about this as well. Thanks Idz!

I discovered that the SHIFT-P menu can be used to switch syntax highlighting. So at least I can keep my hands on the keys…
