RESOLVED: Space Bar pausing application in Perform Mode

Touchdesigner is pausing when the space bar is pressed in perform mode.

I am using a MacBook Air with 2018.24410

have I enabled a particular setting or is this a bug?

That’s a feature, not a bug.

In your preferences window you want to un-check “Enable Playbar Shortcuts” :slight_smile:

That’s an important settings to be aware of!
I don’t remember turning that settings on, but it’s all “behaving” now, all good.

I was looking in the perform Window settings, didn’t think of looking in Preferences.

Though I think something did change… I recall that in some previous builds (088) you had to press SHIFT + SPACE to pause in perform but now it’s just SPACE ¯_(ツ)_/¯
