Crash on external monitor 'OP Create Dialog'

Hi,

When working in Touch on the external monitor by double-clicking to open the ‘OP Create Dialog’, Touch crashes (freeze, and then you have to close the program).
It works fine when working solely on the laptop, only when I shift Touch to the external monitor and double-click, this happens. Same crash when pressing the TAB key while working on external monitor.

EDIT:
Also same crash with Kantan Mapper: Pulsing ‘Open Kantan Window’ opens up in external screen - and Touch freezes and has to be closed.

My laptop (ASUS, Win10, GTX 1070) is connected to an external screen (Apple Cinema Display), connected via mini display port and USB.

TouchDesigner (Com License)
64-bit build 2018.24410
Windows10

EDIT2:
Updated now to 64-bit build 2018.25000
Same as above, but Kantan Mapper works now with ‘Open Kantan Window’ . However, it crashes when pulsing ‘Open in Separate Window’

Many Thanks!
Hanzo

Hi, when it crashes, do you get a .dmp file or does it just hang? If it hangs, you can manually create a dump file by going to Task Manager, right-clicking on TouchDesigner process and selecting “Create dump”. The resulting file will be very large memory dump but you can zip it up and it will get much smaller. If you could share with us we’ll hopefully be able to locate where in the code it is crashing.

Another thing to check, it has recently been discovered that some of the ASUS bloatware included on their laptops can cause crashes as mentioned in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12390&p=48148&hilit=bloatware#p48148

See if you have “Sonic Studio” installed and if so does uninstalling it help?
