TOUCHDESIGNER WORKSHOP NORWAY 2016
Instructors:
Ben Voigt, Markus Heckmann and Greg Hermanovic (Derivative)
Date: Jan 25-27, 2016
Location: Smart Simulation, Halden, Norway

The lastest and most comprehensive videos are from an intensive 3-day workshop that took place at Projection Week 2016 at Smart Simulation in the town of Halden, Norway. The workshop was part of a larger program of performances and masterclasses many of which highlighted an artist working with TouchDesigner (maotik, Theo Groeneboom and Rui Martins).

Whether you are a beginner with no experience, or someone with years of experience, these training videos have plenty of gems that are practical and reflect the current best-practices for TouchDesigner, taught by three product developers at Derivative.

Our workshop took place in the main hall at Dom Omladine alongside 15 other workshops. Each workshop had about 14 dedicated participants working along with the instructors for the duration of the day while other festival attendees were encouraged to walk around and listen in at the various stations for as long as they liked.

The videos here document the part of the workshop having to do with the audio-reactive, video effects and mapping demonstration which is based around a pre-made TouchDesigner 088 file (Resonate.toe) that is described below and downloadable here. It is recommended you download and install the file and work along with the video.
