簡単 (kantan) - japanese for easy, simple - is a projection mapping and masking toolkit for TouchDesigner. The user defines 2D polygons and bezier outlines in the field of view of a projector, then fills each shape with a selected image (TOP) with tools to warp how the image fits into the shape.
The latest revision of Kantan Mapper is provided in the Forum, whgere you can also provide feedback to the tool.
Kantan Mapper is an interface overlaid on-top of an actual projection to enable the drawing, creation and placement of various shapes onto real life objects and the possibility to assign TOP Image Nodes to these shapes and masks.

Download the latest version of Kantan Mapper from the Forum and open it in TouchDesigner.
Main Control Panel
Click the "Open Controls" Button on the panel to open the Main Controls Panel.
First change the Resolution to fit your output resolution. If your projection involves two projectors at, for example 1920x1080 each, you can set the resolution as they will appear as a single window on your desktop, 3840x1080.
Select which monitor the projection is on via the "Out Monitor" radio buttons. Next open the output by clicking the "Output" button.
In case you are just trying out Kantan Mapper and don't have a projector or second screen selected, just enable the "Edit Window".
For adding rectangles, click the "Add Rectangle" button and a rectangle should appear on the edit and output screens. Select the corner points and move them via mouse or via the keyboard arrow keys. In case selecting them is difficult, use the TAB key to select a point.
When adding a freeform mask, a cross-hair will be displayed on the edit and output window, clicking with the left mouse button will add a point while the right mouse button will finish adding the freeform mask. Similar to the rectangle, points can be selected via mouse or TAB key and moved via the mouse or arrow keys.
Adding a bezier mask works exactly the same way as adding a freeform, and you have additional control via the handles. Handles are currently locked and cannot be selected or moved via keyboard.
To edit a mask, select it either in the output or edit window or find it in the mask list of the main control panel. Click the "Show Names" button in the main control panel to have the mask names layered over the masks. Masks can be moved via dragging or the via arrow keys around the output or edit window. For bezier and freeform masks, click the "Add Point" button to insert additional points. Points can also be removed by selecting them and hitting the DEL key.
Masks can be copied and pastes using Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v.
To assign Textures to the separate masks, simply drag TOP Nodes onto the masks in the output or edit window. To actually see the textures applied to the masks, click the "Textures" button on the main control panel.
Double-click on a mask in the edit or output window to bring up the texture edit window. Click the T (for transform), R (for rotate), S (for scale), P (for cornerpin) to edit the textures in order to fit them into the perspective view.
The blue outline indicates what part of the image is covered inside the mask. The red outline shows the extent of the texture, while the yellow outline shows the transform of the texture.
