UIg is an experimental gadget library that, like TUIK, can help you build user interfaces.
One of TouchDesigner's strengths is that you can design and shape your own UI kits based on your intended applications and personal aesthetics. This UI kit is designed for performing more than it is designed for precision. Gadgets are stretchable, touch-screen friendly and semi-transparent to accommodate layering of information.
See the wiki page http://www.derivative.ca/wiki/index.php?title=UIg.
Get the latest uig below. To try it, in a new (latest build) TouchDesigner 077 (or 088) process, drag-drop it into /. (It's also in the TouchDesigner palette in builds after March 20,2013 under the "UI" tab.)
In the "UIg Gadget Set" panel that appears, drag-drop gadgets from the uig panel to the /project1 network.
Click Edit in the UIg Gadget Set panel. Then put /project1 in the path beside the >> button to focus on the /project1 panel. You may have to resize the window slightly.
The Edit tab lets you move and resize gadgets in a control panel, the Operate tab lets you operate the panel.
