How to play one video after another with transition between?

any kind of transition between the two video clips will work...

i have 3 videos... moviein1-3, and i want them to play movie1 first, movie 2 second, movie 3 third etc...

i was told a switch TOP could work... but all i could get with that was for the various inputs to overlay on top of each other by messing with the index... not what im looking for i guess.

kind of lost here... cant find anything in the tutorials on this but i could be missing something obvious.

use an info chop on first moviein TOP and calculate the remaining time of your video. if it's less than X seconds, increase a counter from 0 to 1 (slowly, via filter or count CHOP), use this value to control the index of the switch TOP ...

I'm interested in this technique, but am confused as to how you get there...I cannot the Info Chop, and see it has a ton of data...My guess is that the "index" is the piece of data I need?
How do I go from there to establishing if the clip is done playing or not?
