sort custom grid points

how to change order points of the grid, to a line follow this:

i try this in that toe, i used sort and primitive SOP

hello, i'm no expert at all in SOPs, but did you try to look at the Skin CHOP ?

It looks like one can control the flow of vertices with the skin CHOP, but really, again, i never used them yet (SOPs), so sorry if it is a wrong direction.

Edit: Or perhaps it could be done with some vertex shader in GLSL.


Easier: a point table with a dat to sop

i tested with the select group (SOP editor) and create groups...,
without much luck

for the moment the best results i have archived has been whith the DAT reorder.
I hope to find other solutions and prove your comment, this program always surprises me.
