Displacement map

hi:
I’m learning Touch and I’m interested in the displacement map. I’ve been watching Matthew Regan’s videotutorials “Make some noise”.

The problem is that the displacement map is uniform throughout the surface of the object (grid, sphere …) and I would like it to be irregular, something like this:

I do not know if this can be done with SOP, CHOP and TOP or with GLSL.
