i implemented a different SSAO shader that i found online somewhere. it took some work but the results can be nice, if not a little noisy. you definitely need to tweak the shader settings on the GLSL shader for your scene. strength, falloff, and rad seem to do the most amount of work.
p.s. this requires the new touch build: i’m using CHOPs for GEO comp instancing.
