Ok, I look more into Blend CHOP..
Now I tried to setup a Morpher in 3DSMAX and export it with that intact, but it didn't come through in the FBX.. also I did try dragging a 3DS file into TD and it brought in a few extra networks, that were not in the FBX. maybe these are what you are referring to..
When I import / drag over the 3DS file.. I get an extra node called.. takes BAS that leads into a exportAnim NUL and then that into a FBX_Root
In the takes BAS it has Take_001 Fil that goes into a Takes_001_ts then that into a switch
on a side note. when I dragged the 3DS file in, the Materials got a little messed up, maybe it's a bug?? or version incompatibility?? as I am using the latest 3DSMAX, but it looks as if the DIFFUSE swapped with the AMBIENT and some of the NORMALS got messed up..
