A case where this is annoying is this:
- in a network with many operators present, press the 'delete' key
the active OP is deleted and another becomes active.
hold down the 'delete' key for a few seconds and watch the fun ...
If there must always an active operator at any moment - arbitrarily assigned if neccessary, must it also be selected ready for any operation such as 'delete' to be applied without the explicit selection by the user?
