Multi GPU Alternate Frame Rendering + instancing geometry

I followed the guidelines in the wiki for SLI with two GPU’s and the performance is definitely improved.

The issue I am having is a visible strobe on certain instanced geometries. This seems to be rendering the geometry in one GPU but not the other, alternating each frame and causing the instanced geometry to strobe visibility. It seems to only affect one geometry at a time.

It’s difficult to replicate as it seems to choose the geometry at random. So far the only consistency is that they have all been instanced geometries. Restarting touch solves the issue temporarily.

Other than this, it seems the alternate frame method is working great.

This is most likely a driver bug. Any chance you are using Quadros so we can report the issue?

yeah two p6000’s

Ah great. If you can email me a repro case to support@derivative.ca I can submit it to Nvidia for them to look at.
