Logic CHOP + channel scope memory leak !!

Postby pixelux » Mon Apr 16, 2018 9:55 am

Hello,

It takes me some time to find and tackle this issue on one installation.
At the start up, it runs at 60fps with a cpu memory usage around 2700Mo.
After a few hours, the frame rate had drop to 15fps and the memory increased to 7000Mo.
I found the culprits: those logics chop with the scope parameter activated to select a channel. I had a bunch of those spread in the patch. a select chop instead ( scope set to default *) and everything, now, runs smoothly.

I think some memory leaks somewhere. Maybe not a big deal as I would have normally use select chop but in an interests of optimization, I chose the scope to filter.
It happens on window 10 with 15400 -> 16620

I hope this help to find the problem .
