cache SOP broken again?

Postby xzQuinn » Wed Mar 10, 2010 9:29 am

I have a project containing a cacheSOP
- works fine on FTE 3715 but not on PRO 5167 (and I imagine FTE 5167)
any ideas?

I am having a problem with setting a cache TOP to prefill on startup in the latest build. Seems like its calculating the prefill not at $F = 1,2,3 but at an offset frame value, maybe the current frame value. This was working in 5110 but not in the 5167 build. Also, fcur command no longer works.

This is due to the new timeline which is still getting fleshed out in 5167. We have a fix for $F coming where it will be tied correctly to the new timeline.

So the cache SOP will pre-fill starting at $F = 1 in the next release? Any idea when this will be put on the experimental builds? thanks

Hi James. Quite a few changes to go through affecting the way time is distributed.
Still working on this one, hope to have at least a fix for the cache SOP soon.
Sorry bout the delay,

Rob.
