[Solved] Change the Color of a Rectangle

... I've watched a bunch of the tutorial videos, so I have a basic understanding of what is going on. I don't understand why connecting a rectangle TOP to an HSV Adjust Top does not have any effect. I'd expect the color of the rectangle to change when I move the Hue Offset slider, but it does nothing. ...

Have you tried using the HSV Adjust TOP and it's Hue Offset parameter? Im using the HSV Adjust offset in the actual example, its a RGB wheel and should work for some color schemes but not for all. Have been looking around about how to convert ...

Here's an example of every bar (so every 4th beat) changing the color of the HSV Adjust TOP
In 10 bars it goes through a hue offset of 0-360, and then starts over again.

Using CHOPS to animate HSV Adjust hue offset

... I tried used some CHOPS but when I assign them to the hue offset it doesn't work Also can somebody explain me why a CHOP can control the Ramp TOP Phase but can't control the HSV ADJUST. Thanks

I believe this is to be expected. Since TOP data is usually RGB, in order to do HSV operations it has to be internally converted to HSV in the shader, operated on, then returned to RGB, so I imagine it clamps before converting since going from ...

HSV Adjust

The HSV Adjust top seems to be clamping pixels at 0-1 range even when set to 32bit float output.
