Re: Texture Sampling: GLSL vs Sop2Chop UV -> Top2Chop

... TopToChop (which can be found in the Source COMP and later used in the CHOP example and SOP example with the ChopToSop) why does it then sample ... GLSL MAT samplers are set to Repeat. Another option to change is the filter, which you can switch from Mipmap linear to Nearest. This will give ...

Audio Stuff

... here. While building these I noticed a couple of things: Audio Spectrum CHOP : - It would be great if we could get complex output (real and imaginary). ... to arrive at a buffer of length 512 to get what we wanted. Audio Filter CHOP : - It would be great if we could have a biquad, or a one-zero ...

Re: Max/MSP Gate operator

... it get's pretty hairy quickly. The example I had made for them used Fan CHOP and a bunch of selects and maths, which is fine, but it's not elegant ... There are a number of operators that are "always cook" like Filter or Logic, so this could just be another one (although I don't think ...

Logic CHOP + channel scope memory leak !!

... and the memory increased to 7000Mo. I found the culprits: those logics chop with the scope parameter activated to select a channel. I had a bunch ... select chop but in an interests of optimization, I chose the scope to filter. It happens on window 10 with 15400 -> 16620 I hope this help to find ...

Re: Opposite of Switch Chop

The easiest non-python way would be to use Fan CHOP to turn one channel into a channel per output, then filter to smooth out the signal change. Then you can use each of the new channels as "gates" ...

Re: rotation for wheel of fortune

Try SpinnerWinner from our MUTEK Mexico workshop. Winning T-shirts not included.

In your file, I put a .1 sec Filter CHOP before you Slope CHOP, a bit better.

By the way, your atan2() expression is good. There's also the Function CHOP that does same with no expressions.

Re: FIXED?: [099 2017.6800] DMX In sACN not filtering Alt St

Hi Peeet, We've added a "Start Codes" parameter to the DMXIn CHOP available in the next Experimental build, 2018.20120+ The parameter will allow you to specify a list of accepted start codes, and will filter out any sACN packets with a start code not in the list. By default ...

Re: Smooth out data points

You might look at the Lag CHOP too - it allows you to filter both on the rising and falling edges of your data, as well as to overshoot or clamp slope. It can be a little slippery, but lots of good options there. Are you dealing with multiple samples or single samples in your data stream?

Smooth out data points

... and smoothly move through noise data). I've tried messing with the Filter CHOP but that hasn't been able to meaningfully smooth things out. Anyone have any ideas?
