SUBMITTED: Constant CHOP bug?

... a channel value to (in my case) opinfo(blah blah, "total_cooks"), the value in the parameter reads the right value, but the actual chop val doesn't seem to bother in updating vals. Ok, it doesn't have any inputs attached so maybe the fact that its expression changes is not enough ...
