hi,

if i understand correctly :

- if you need to smooth a transition, use a Lag CHOP which can smooth a transition between two values

- what you need though, if your goal is to make a smooth fade between two images is to use the Cross TOP instead of Switch

Sequencing events

... multiple reactive visuals/instances for an audio performance, and switch them automatically in time without having to manually switch. Any idea which would be the best way to do this? Would Sequencer CHOP be an option? Not sure it would be useful... Thanks!

If you only need the detection of a player, use a Kinect CHOP and the player index channels you'll get from it. Use that 0-1 channel to drive a Switch TOP for instance. See Help->Operator Snippets ->Switch TOP examples to see how you can ...
