Re: Proper use of variables in ScriptDAT???

... snag it with op('CHOPname').numSamples So, for some reason the record chop seems to only record frames as they appear on the timeline. So if the ... a 10 second loop, it just dubs over previously recording changes as you cycle through the 10 seconds again. The timeline and I really have no business ...

Re: CHOP noise with a clean loop point?

I'd probably use a pattern CHOP and combine my noise with a Math CHOP to be able to shape it a little more.

You could also change your extend pars to be mirror instead of hold or cycle. Doing a quick test that looks like it works pretty well.

Re: Feedback CHOP modes

a TimeSlice CHOP instead of a Delay CHOP would display the same flat line.
The wave never steps into the present, so it leaves no memories.
inexistent from a time slice perspective.

an Extend CHOP set to cycle would make it visible, but same as feedback2.

Re: Lookup CHOP rounding error bug I think

Also of note is the Extend CHOP can give you the Cycle options for when you're using CHOPs that don't have the parameters exposed. Very useful when working with things like Event CHOPs.

Re: Set animation comp speed with bpm/beat chop

Probably best to post example file.

You need to drive it with a Beat CHOP, to give you a cycle either per beat or bar, whatever you want. Hence using fractional units as the Ramp is 0-to-1.
